Safari 16.4 raises exception when using Password AutoFill on macOS 13.3 Ventura (M1)

Safari 16.4 is raising an exception dialog when a proposed auto fill credential is selected. Seen on macOS 13.3 Ventura on M1 mac.

Resolved in Safari 16.5 supplied with macOS Ventura 13.4.

WorkArounds to avoid Safari exception…

• invoke the dialog that allows credential selection i.e. SamuraiSafe…

• install the Safari Technology Preview (a pre-release version of Safari).
