Keyboard Shortcuts

Application keyboard shortcuts can be viewed in the menu bar. SamuraiSafe adds the following:

    ⌘I to expose/hide the detail drawer,

    ⌘K to toggle the detail/history tab of the detail drawer,

    ⌘R to revert to the previous save.

Standard shortcuts that are often useful include:

    ⌘C to copy the selected password,

    ⌘O to open a safe,

    ⌘S to save the current safe,

    ⌘Z to undo changes,

    ⌘W to close the current safe,

    ⌘Q to quit,

    ⌘, to open the preferences pane.

You can use the ▲ and ▼ keys to move between entries, and if the detail drawer is open, you can use tab to move between fields in an entry.

The option key ⌥ reveals additional menu bar options:

• If Touch ID is enabled, two menu options Open with Options… and Open iCloud with Options will appear. These allow the safe to be opened without automatically attempting a Touch ID authentication, thus allowing changing of the read only option.

• Clear Password AutoFill Safe … allows the removal from autoFill of any safe.
